dreamt I went to a gynocologist appointment in an office building in center city Philadelphia. I only saw me getting into the elevator on the 11th floor to go down to the lobby. I was wearing a dark gray trench coat over a dress. Walking through the lobby I saw the security guard coming toward the desk wearing a dark blue uniform carrying a small pizza box. The guard was actor Avery Brooks. I laughed because he bought the pizza for me. He lifted the lid to show me the plain, cheese pizza. I told him to take a piece but he declined. I took the box, said goodbye and walked out the front door. It was after five o'clock, twilight and very cold. I walked the five blocks to the subway station. In my right hand I had a quarter and dime for the fare. When I got to the spot, I looked down the steps that were icy and slushy and dimly lit. A man approached, holding a young boy (didn't see child's face). The man was wearing a dark fedora, coat and scarf and wore black rimmed glasses. He commented that it looked too dangerous to go down. I don't know what he did but I walked to the corner and tried hailing a cob. But they were all carrying passengers. The cabs were black with a black and white sign on the doors that said "Checkers". After ten minutes I called the cab company on my cell but the girl said they didn't send cabs at my location which was Walnut-Locust. I argued I saw their cabs pass by for the past ten minutes. She said they were only passing through. Frustrated, I hung up. That's when I woke.
